Every Saturday, Good Samaritan Center hosts a worship service at it's Washington Park Ministry Center. During operating hours attendees can utilize the free laundry facility, receive food and clothing, and eat a great lunch. This cannot happen without the participation of dedicated volunteers. Every week we need people to:
- Prepare and distribute food/toiletry resource bags
- Staff our nursery and children's areas
- Prepare and serve lunch
- Lead singing in our worship service
- Set-up and Clean-up
Volunteering is open to anyone old enough and able to serve. We welcome individuals and groups alike. Some groups come regularly on scheduled Saturdays, others come when available, and still others come to help with special projects around the facility and community.

GSM is funded 100% through charitable donations. The funds that come in go to maintain and operate our Washington Park outreach center, purchase additional resources to be distributed, and to our monthly financial grants to those in need of assistance with utilities, housing, or other financial emergency. Good Samaritan Ministries is registered with the IRS as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so all your financial gifts are completely tax deductible.
